Macau First round & Final round Judge:
Ms Li Shaoyu, director of St Lazarus Church District Creative Industries Promotion Association; she is the director of the Macao film "1441", which is work for Ma Jiao New Art Studies profession course, and she has won the 2012 Basic Law Short Drama Performance Award and the overall performance award. Ms. Li is a training instructor for the Ma Jiao New Art Studies in film studies; and is also a filmmaker and producer.
First Round Judge:
Mr Yu Zhiyun, chairman of the "Macau Comickers Association", production director of "Zhi The Multimedia Studio", and "Multimedia Producer" in "Video Art, Manga, Illustrator, Design, Drama", he participated in the Short Drama show as the screenwriter of "告密者" which has won several awards. His masterpieces include the film "橫街窄巷" in 2008 and "逆著光" in 2013. Mr Yu's directed films "明天 · 不要迟", "逆着光", "沒有那麼多時間難過" were successfully shortlisted for the 58th Asia Pacific Film Festival.

As the creator of this competition , I would like to thank Hong Kong Playground Association's support in co-organizing the "Funny Side of Me" Greater Bay Microfilm Competition 2019. I would also like to give thanks to Mr Martin Lee from Henderson Land Development Co Ltd for being the sole sponsor of the competition and encouraging youngsters. I am so honored and grateful for our three judges: Mr Leon Ko Sai Tseung, Director Cheung King Wai and Director Derek Tsang Kwok Cheung. Mr Leon Ko is the winner of best original movie soundtrack for the Hong Kong Film Awards and has won the the 45th Golden Horse Award. He also composed the musical for the "Jacky Cheung Lightyear World Tour" and for "Monster Hunt 2". Director Cheung's "KJ: Music And Life" has won the 46th Golden Horse Awards for best documentary, editing and sound effect. He has also won the 29th Hong Kong Film Awards for the rising director award. Director Tsang's "Soul Mate" has won the "Hong Kong Film Directors' Guild" award and "China Film Directors Guild Award 2016". They are not only talented in the arts, but also have great work ethnic and professionalism. They are the role models of youngsters and I am truly grateful for their encouragement and support this generation!

Double surprise! Natasha Yuen has received interviews with The University of Hong Kong (ranked 1st in HK) and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (ranked 2nd in HK)! ??
During Natasha's university application process, Ms Pang stressed the importance of the personal statement while guiding Natasha to develop self awareness and giving her insights about the expectations in the pharmacology industry.? Apart from the unique TM training, Ms Pang also went overtime explaining to Natasha about kindness and morals, as she would be caring and find solutions to save lives. ❤️

7 years old Jacqueline Ngai is our little role model for hard work! For her diary, she went over the top with a shocking 51 vocabs when only 15 is required! Regardless of age groups, we should all learn from Jacqueline's self-motivating attitude! Keep up the good work! ??

A very big step for Odee!
During the summer holiday, Ms Pang realised Odee's problem of self centered and inpersostency. Therefore, by DecodingTM and ProjectionTM method of teaching, Ms Pang quickly rectified his issues and pushed him to his limit to work as hard as he could. Besides that, Ms Pang also put him into different groups to work with various of mentors to enhance his collaborative and communication skills.
With intense training on the personal statement, Odee reached the interview stage in the HKUST admission process and is preparing for more challenges in the near future!

在暑假的時候，彭老師糾正了他自我中心和容易放棄的問題。彭老師以 DecodingTM 和 ProjectionTM 的教學方式，鼓勵他永不放棄和堅持，使他不停進步。彭老師也讓他和不同的同學合作，讓他懂得如何與人相處，和同學們互補不足。
在長期的訓練下，他得到了香港科技大學的面試機會。所以，我非常感謝彭老師的鼓勵、支持和教導。
All thanks to Ms Pang's professional guidance and training in DecodingTM and ProjectionTM ??, Irene has received a conditional offer from University of St Andrews(rank 3rd in the UK) to study MA (Hons) in Philosophy ?in year 2019. At first, Irene was worried because she thought her grades were not competitive. Ms Pang was the only person who supported Irene to apply ??and she counseled her to overcome her insecurities,also to be more confident throughout the journey using a "can do" ??spirit. Finally good news has come through! ?

Students commonly misconceive? grades as the most determining factor in the university admission process, neglecting the importance of the personal statement.
Since the summer holidays, Ms Pang used DecodingTM and ProjectionTM to train Nelson on his personal statement?, while encouraging him to gain experience from real life projects such as 'Movie Character Created by Me' - Video Competition 2018? and 'Have you eaten rice yet?'? Campaign, where he practiced communication and leadership skills to enrich his character. With Ms Pang's elite training ? and advice to build on a successful personal statement, Nelson reached the interview stage in the HKUST admission process!

I am Irene, I want to say a few words to thank Ms Pang because I am very grateful for her guidance and support throughout the application journey and I have learnt and grew so much as a person??♀️ during which. It was not easy as a regular local school student because the idea of Cambridge was very intimidating so Ms Pang had to give me pep talks ?to help me develop confidence and at the same time she is turning my weaknesses into strength using DecodingTM and ProjectionTM. She uses examples in the practical world for training which actually bolsters my academics, so it is a natural way to train. I, like most people, had the wrong assumption that top universities like Cambridge only focus on academics, but in fact the attitude and mindset are often the main problem. As a generation Z, some of us are not willing to receive feedback and are often stubborn because we are unwilling to accept our flaws so we cannot improve. After Ms Pang changes my mindset, my intellectual level??? has improved. I am more open, receptive and very motivated to change and improve. ????
我是Irene，我想說幾句感謝的話給彭老師因為我對老師在我申請旅程中的輔導和知識深存感恩，同時我也途中學習和得到成長??♀️。作為一名本地學校學生並不容易因為劍橋的想法非常令人生畏，所以彭老師給我跟多鼓勵?幫助我建立自信也讓我通過DecodingTM和ProjectionTM把我的弱點轉換成優點。她使用在現實世界中例子鍛鍊提高我的學術，因此這是一種自然的訓練方式。我和大多數人一樣，錯誤地認為像劍橋這樣的頂尖大學只專注於學術，但事實上，態度和心態往往是主要問題。作為Z一代，我們中的一些人不願意接受反饋而且往往很頑固，因為我們不願意接受我們的缺陷，所以我們無法改善。彭老師改變了我的心態後，我的學術水平???得以提升！我更開放，更善於接受，並且非常有動力去改變和改進。????
7 years old Jacqueline Ngai dedicated Ms Pang a trophy today because she forgot to do her homework. She tried to win Ms Pang over as compensation in order not to break her heart. ?? We give her a 10/10 for her effort! She is very charming! ?

Our LPIP 'alumni', Francis Yip,
returned after his second year in Cambridge. Francis was not only trained by Ms Pang academically, but most importantly on the culture of giving back and contribute. This summer, Francis volunteered to mentor and trained Irene on physics. He set himself as a role model, sharing this virtue of appreciation and gratitude to younger students of LPIP! First test came in and Irene has shown progress and great improvement in physics, achieving grade A! Under Ms Pang's guidance in decodingTM, Francis's effort paid off! Thank you so much Francis!

Hi I am Eric from St. Paul's College and I was rewarded a scholarship for the 2018-2019 academic year . I think attitude plays a big part on whether one can keep a scholarship or not. In the past, I was not willing to learn and would moan in lessons. However, Miss Pang always emphasises on attitude and will rectify me when I have bad attitude. With a positive attitude, I am now more driven to learn. Thank you Miss Pang!

Last Sunday, an intense session of 2 sided debate™ training was held in LPIP. After Ms Pang sets the topic, team were put together:
Team Against:
- Francis (second year in Cambridge)
- Irene (preparing for university)
Team For:
- Tiffany (first year in Bath for Psychology)
- Nelson (gap year)
Both teams tried using strategies to construct valid arguments, while controlling their EQ when the debate reached its climax. But in the end, Ms Pang floored both teams to demonstrate flexibility in thinking. So which team is Ms Pang on?
After the debate, Ms Pang teaches the students to reflect on their performances to enhance their self awareness. This elite exercise not only enabled the students to put their debating skills to the test, it is also trains student to on practical skills for university application or their future career.
上個星期天，一次緊張的2 sided debate™訓練在LPIP舉行。在彭老師定好題目後，隊伍也被定下來：

雙方嘗試用技巧交換論證，同時也要在辯論高潮克制著情商。但最後彭老師推翻了兩邊的論點展示靈活思維給學生看。所以彭老師到底站在那一邊？
辯論結束後，彭老師教導學生們對這次表現做出反思來提高個人認知。這次精英練習不但讓學生實踐他們的辯論技巧，還可以訓練他們實踐技面對大學或未來事業。
