'Movie Character Created By Me Video Competition 2018' has been officially released on ONTV new today!
With film production as a big trend today, youngsters with creativity want a chance to perform. A short film competition was held for youngsters last year, where nearly 2,000 youngsters participated. The competition was successfully concluded and the award ceremony was held. The organisers praised youngsters for fully utilising their creativity to produce high level videos, hoping that the competition will allow them to show their strengths, while the videos reflect their sense of mission to society and their reflection on life.
The "The Movie Character Created By Me" short film competition 2018 was initiated by Ms Pang, founder of Lisa Pang International Program Limited. Co-organised with the Hong Kong Playground Association and the Parson Music Foundation. The award ceremony was held recently. The competition was opened to students aged 12 to 17, they can participate individually or in a team of no more than three people, from November last year to April this year, attracting about 180 schools and organisations, with more than 1500 videos submitted by 1940 participants.

This free entry competition organised by the Hong Kong Playground Association and Ms Lisa Pang, famous HK & PRC educator and trainer of the 2015 DSE scholar Pong Chan, co-sponsored by the Parson Music Foundation, aims to give opportunity for young talent to shine in HK.
Honourable judges of project includes China famous A-list producer, winner of the Golden Eagle award Mr Pang Tit Lam, HK famous producer renowned for his comedy films with Chow Sing Chi, Mr Lee Lik Chi, and famous HK & PRC educator Ms Pang.
This competition's deadline is the 30th of April 2018, giving participants 4 months to produce their masterpiece without stress. There are no limitations to the creativity nor the character our participants want to pioneer, the character can even be the second Bruce Lee or Jacky Chan! The competition will definitely be a fun experience for the youngsters to showcase their innovations and develop practical skills as teamwork or management!
We hope the torch of HK film industry will be passed on to the next generation to keep the legacy of HK films alive! Good luck to all participants and have fun!
